According to her, the council has approved a bus station at Marine bridge to improve accessibility, and it is working with the NPA and other federal departments to provide the necessary infrastructure.

Fatai Ayoola, chairman of the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, said Lagos State could not afford to overlook Apapa.

There is a massive plan to develop and revitalize the interior areas of the council to satisfy the mega masterplan of the state, and work is underway to provide Apapa mass coloration.

Apapa is a priority for the administration, and he promised “complete improvement.”

Chiedizie Udeze, chairman of Apapa Club, stated his administration had begun work on a strategy to restore the club’s former glory.
